AS 1359.102.2 – Rotating electrical machinery – General requirements, Part 102.2: Methods for determining losses and efficiency – Calorimetric method

Specifies the calculation of efficiency (mainly of large generators) from the summation of individual losses or from measurement of total losses, where the losses are deduced from the heat produced by them and dissipated by the coolants or in the surrounding media. This Standard is based on IEC 34-2A:1974.
