AS 4017 – Information technology – Open Systems Interconnection – Virtual terminal basic class service

Defines, in an abstract way, the externally visible basic class virtual terminal service within the OSI application layer in terms of a model defining the interaction between users of the service, the primitive actions and events of the service, the parameter data associated with each primitive action and event and the relationship between, and the valid sequence of, these actions and events. This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 9040:1990.
