ETSI TS 126 346 defines a set of media codecs, formats and transport/application protocols to enable thedeployment of MBMS user services either over the MBMS bearer service or other UMTS Bearer Services within the3GPP system.
In this version of the specification, only MBMS download and streaming delivery methods are specified. The presentdocument does not preclude the use of other delivery methods.
The present document includes information applicable to network operators, service providers and manufacturers.
