This specification defines the minimum requirements and testconditions for cargo unit load devices to be installed incertificated aircraft and covers, pallets, nets and containersintended for use with the following classes of aircraft loading andrestraint systems.

Class I Unit load device restraint conforms to all flight andground load conditions including 9g forward emergency landingconditions.

Class II All other unit load device restraints.
