This specification establishes the requirements for the manufactureand inspection of one type of straight headed pin.
Classification.Pins shall be fabricated from any one of the followingcompositions (see 3.1):
a.4037, 4130 or 8630, steel alloy.
b.PH13-8Mo, corrosion resistant steel (cres).
c.Ti-6AI-4v, titanium alloy.
d.8740 steel alloy.
