ARINC 625-2

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide a standard approachfor the development and management of test procedure generation foraircraft components. Major elements of this approach are:

• Roles and responsibilities of the parties involved.
• Test Specification content and attributes.
• Technical Support and Data Package (TSDP).
• Test implementation process.
• Conformance checking process.

Benefits to standardizing an approach are:

• Clarifies the responsible parties to reduce redundant and/ormissed elements of the process.
• Defines the content and attributes of Test Specifications toaid in maintenance of it and implementation of it using alternativemethods.
• Defines the elements of the TSDP to aid in implementation ofthe test specification in case this TS does not contain allnecessary data.
• Provides guidelines for the process of test implementation toaid all parties in understanding the activities involved.
• Defines the data and provides an ARINC 668 compliant processrequired to check the conformance of alternative implementation tothe Test Specification to minimize the cost for equivalencyverification.
