This document sets forth the characteristics of the GNSS LandingSystem Sensor Unit (GLSSU) intended for installation in commercialaircraft. The intent of this document is to provide general andspecific design guidance for the development of GLSSU for airlineuse. It describes the desired operational capability of the GLSSUand the standards necessary to ensure interchangeability.
