Purpose
This regulation establishes Army deployment and redeploymentpolicies and delineates roles, responsibilities, commandrelationships, and authorities for deployment and redeploymentplanning, execution, and support. It applies to unit personnel orequipment movement in support of operations, overseas deploymenttraining, and training center rotations.
Applicability. This regulation applies to theActive Army, Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the UnitedStates, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated.
