ARMY AR 600-8-7

Purpose

This regulation prescribes the policies for the retirementservices and Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) functions of militarypersonnel management (see AR 600–8).

Applicability. This regulation applies to theActive Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of theUnited States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated.It also applies to installation retirement services officers andSurvivor Benefit Plan counselors.
