ARMY DA PAM 5-11

This pamphlet applies to the Active Army, the Army National Guard and theUnited States Army Reserves. It applies to models and simulations that areused within the Army. It does not include models and simulations embedded inweapons systems.

This pamphlet gives procedures for the “Management of Army Models andSimulations” (AR 5-11). The objective of this pamphlet is to assist the modelsand simulations (M&S) developer, proponent, and application sponsor inconforming to the verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A)policies prescribed in AR 5-11. This pamphlet also provides guidance for thedevelopment, execution, and reporting of all VV&A activities. Thispamphlet also addresses data V&V and accreditation in reference to properM&S use.
