This test is conducted for the purpose of determining the resistanceof a given electricalconnector or socket to exposure at extremes of high and lowtemperatures and to the shock ofalternate exposures to these extremes, simulating the worst probableconditions of storage,transportation and application.
NOTE – This procedure includes the provision for testing at cryogenictemperatures. Cryogenictemperatures should only be used with specimens specifically designedto be compatible with suchtemperatures.
