This standard establishes test methods to determine the abilityof the terminals of an electrical connector to withstand themechanical stresses likely to be applied during normal assemblyoperations. This test method is limited to standard flat typethrough hole terminations, such as those typically used inconnector or socket type products, that have a material thicknessno thicker than 0.30 millimeters (0.012 inch). Test methods forprinted circuit terminals and solderless wrap terminals areincluded in this standard.
