This specification covers rectangular shielded connectors withribbon style contacts on 1.27 x 1.65 mm [.050 x 0.065 in] contactspacing. Connector polarization is achieved by the trapezoidalconfigutation of the shell. The right-angled fwed connectors withactive contacts are soldered to the printed board. The freeconnectors with stationary contacts use the insulation displacementor compression type of termination for round cable with 0.09mm2 (28 AWG) discrete solid or stranded conductors. Itis recommended that the user have their cable evaluated by theconnector manufacturer for their specific application. Thespecification is given according to the following:
1) Sizes 26,50,60,68,100
2) Metal shell shielded version only
3) Over-molding to be shown only as an application note withmaximum dimensions only
4) Only jackscrews to be used for mating interface hardware
5) Only cable connectors and right angle headers are to becovered
