This standard established a test method to ascertain the abilityof fully wired connector assemblies to resist the effects of drydust (fine sand) laden atmosphere.
Object
This object of this test is to simulate the effect of sharpedged dust particles, (up to 150 micrometers in size) which maypenetrate into cracks, bearings and joints.
