This Standard covers sanitary floor sinks made of carbon steel and intended for draining indirectwaste to the sanitary drainage system. It specifies requirements for materials, manufacture,physical characteristics, performance tests, and markings.
Note: In this Standard, carbon steel sanitary floor sinks are referred to as “floor sinks.”
