This recommended practice applies to all toxic gas detectioninstruments that satisfy the performance requirements inISA-S92.0.01, Part I

References useful in the installation, operation, andmaintenance of toxic gas detection instruments are listed in Annex@. These references are not considered to be part of this documentexcept for those specific sections of documents referencedelsewhere in this Recommended Practice.

Purpose

ISA-RP92.0.02, Part Il, establishes user criteria for theinstallation, operation, and maintenance of toxic gas detectioninstruments.

Its companion standard, ISA-S92.0.01, Part I, “PerformanceRequirements for Toxic Gas Detection Instruments,” has beenprepared to provide minimum requirements for the performance oftoxic gas detection instruments.
