Atlas 5251 is a wrought, non-heat-treatable, aluminum-magnesium alloy (5xxx series). Alloy 5251, registered in 1972, is essentially the same as the old N4 alloy and is produced primarily in Europe for a variety of common alloy applications. It offers properties similar to those of alloy 5052 for the same temper.
