The purpose of this standared is to provide information relevant to one part of this problem. In particular, specifictions for wavelength accuracy, spectral band width, stray radiant energy, cell path length, absorbace accuracy, absorbance linearity, and absorbance pecision are discussed in relation to two broad categories of methods.
This document is no longer being reviewed as part of the CLSI consensus process. However, because of its usefulness to a limited segment of the healthcare community, CLSI is continuing to make the document available for its informational content.
