AATCC 196 – Colorfastness to Sodium Hypochlorite of a Textile Floor Covering (Reaffirmed 2012, 2013)

This test method is used to determine the fastness of colored pile yarnfloor coverings to the effects of a sodium hypochlorite solution, commonly calledchlorine bleach. It is applicable to predyed, postdyed, printed, or other otherwisecolored pile yarn floor coverings.
