AATCC TM6 – Test Method for Colorfastness to Acids and Alkalis
Test specimens are evaluated for change in color when spot tested with acid, or steeped in alkali fumes, in a laboratory setting. These test methods are applicable to textiles made from all fibers in the form of yarns or fabrics, whether dyed, printed or otherwise colored.
