AGMA 236.04-56

These tolerances apply to the following types of gears:

(a) Spur and helical gears made in accordance with AmericanStandard 20-0eg Involute FinePitch System for Spur and HelicalGears (ASA B6. 7-1956; AGMA 236.04).

(b) Straight, spiral, * Zerol bevel and hypoid gears.

(c) Worms and wormgears with axes at right angles,comprising cylindrical worms with helical threads and wormgearshobbed for fully conjugate tooth surfaces (not helical gears).
