This document provides the framework, concepts and practices fortesting products to NAS specifications and standard drawings.
Purpose. This document provides a procedure for thetesting of a product of a specific manufacturer to a NationalAerospace Standard. Such tests are conducted to verify design andfabrication techniques of a product to the requirements of thestandard drawing and the procurement specification. Compliance of aproduct as indicated by this testing does not eliminate theacceptance test requirements, nor does it relieve the manufacturerof the responsibility of conducting additional tests when sorequired by a contractor.
