This specification defines the requirements for alloy steelexternally threaded fasteners procured under part numbers listed ondrawings which refer to this specification. Typically thesefasteners are used for shear applications where 95 KSI Fsu isdesired with a service temperature capability to 450 °F. Receivingcontractors may reject any manufactured lot which does notconform.
Workmanship of fasteners shall conform with aircraft fastenermanufacturing processes.
Recommendations for improvements or corrections to thisspecification should be directed to an NASC representative of ausing company or to the Executive Secretary of the NationalAerospace Standards Committee.
Specifications listed herein, of the issue in effect on date ofprice inquiry are a part of this specification to the extentindicated. In the case of conflict, the requirements herein shalltake precedence.
