Purpose
To define the training requirements of Flight Training Equipment(FTE) support personnel.
This document should be considered as a guide for FTE operatorsand manufacturers to define the scope and content of SupportPersonnel training courses.
It should be the main purpose of this document to define thecontent of each module and the level to which it is taught. It canthen be used as a common baseline for training requirementsworldwide by FTE operators and suppliers. Within the scope of thisdocument, a course is a collection of modules. For each course,there should be defined:
1. Recommended Prerequisites/Experience
2. Course Schedule Breakdown
3. Pre-study Package
For each module, there should be defined:
1. Objectives
2. Content
Theoretical and practical hands on training, includingtroubleshooting, should be provided on each module for the studentto gain experience and demonstrate understanding of the topic.
