Purpose/Goals
The purpose of ARINC Report 436 is to provide Flight SimulationTraining Device (FSTD) users, suppliers and regulatory authoritiesa set of guidelines for Electronic Qualification Test Guide (eQTG)systems. This document is intended to be supplementary to existingregulatory authority requirements. This document is not designed todirect the use of certain technologies or platforms, but to outlinethe minimum requirements of an eQTG system. The choice of thetechnology used to meet these requirements is left to the system’sdesigners and users.
