Purpose
This regulation provides policy for developing, implementing,exercising, and updating the Army Mobilization Plan (AMP). Itstates that the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G–3/5/7 and Commander,U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) have the authority to developand implement the Army Mobilization System (AMS) (formerly known asthe Army Mobilization Operations Planning and Execution System) andFORSCOM mobilization procedures which can be obtained viahttp://www.FORSCOM.mil, respectively.
Applicability. This regulation applies to theActive Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard ofthe United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwisestated. Also, it applies to Department of the Army civilians andNon- Logistics Civilian Augmentation Program contractors.
