Purpose
This regulation establishes policy, responsibilities, and procedures for conducting the recruiting support programs reflected in paragraph 1–5. It applies to recruiting support programs and related activities in support of the Army’s recruiting efforts across all three Army components. This regulation reforms current practices by setting a standard for conducting recruiting support programs.
Applicability. This regulation applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army National Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated. It alsoap pliesto the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command, for Centers of Influence events that it initiates, in support of the Department of Defense Student Testing Program . Heads of Headquarters, Department of the Army agencies and commanders of Army commands, installations, or activities must have knowledge of AR 340–21 and AR 25–55.
