AS 1735.1.4 – Lifts, escalators and moving walks, Part 1.4: Safety rules for the construction and installation of lifts – Existing lifts – Rules for the improvement of safety of existing passenger and goods passenger lifts
AS 1735.1.4:2021 identically adopts EN 81 80:2019 which gives a methodology for improving the safety of existing lifts with the aim of reaching an equivalent level of safety to that of a newly installed lift by the application of todays state-of-the-art for safety.
