This chapter identifies general objectives both for a Load Research program and for individual studies conducted by the Load Research team. The chapter discusses factors that satisfy study objectives, time and budget constraints, and strategies for identifying and collecting information and insight from internal clients. The chapter concludes with possible organizational structures and alternatives for Load Research programs.
