Presents results of a two-stage survey of quality management (QM) systems used by CII member organizations. Correlates these organizations’ QM self-assessments with the elements and attributes of industry’s most widely used QM systems. Presents a maturity model for QM self-assessment and a three-step process for QM improvement. Also presents the team’s review of CII’s previous QM research.
