The Logistics Composite Model Analysis Toolkit (LCOM ATK) Study describes a full weapon system in terms of component reliabilities, maintenance tasks, manpower, spare parts, support equipment, facilities, and flying schedule. When this study is used in a Monte-Carlo simulation, it provides a means to run trade studies on manpower, sparing, or component reliabilities, and to determine their impact on fleet availability and ability to meet sortie requirements. The LCOM ATK is developed and managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) engineering home office (AFLCMC/EZJS) at Wright-Patterson AFB.
