This Standard includes the lead taping requirements forcomponents having axial configured leads, provided these componentsmay be taped in accordance with the requirements of thisdocument.
PURPOSE
This Standard is formulated to provide dimensions and tolerancesnecessary to tape axial leaded components after manufacture so thatthey can be automatically handled. Axial leaded components areleaded components with the lead egress concentric with thelongitudinal axis centerline of the component body.
