This standard covers thick film general purpose rectangularleadless discrete fixed resistors with temperature coefficients of± 350 PPM/°C (ranging from ± 50 PPM/°C to ± 350 PPM/°C) and greaterand resistance tolerances of ± 5% (ranging from ± 0.5% to ± 5%) andgreater for use in surface mounting applications using solderingtechniques.

Typical Construction Characteristics

The termination shall include a leach-resistant barrier layer,made of nickel or an equivalent material. The barrier layer shallbe covered with a layer of solderable material
