This standard covers iron core transformers for use inElectronic Equipment in which long life, reliability and continuityof operation are essential, and which are required to transformvoltages with fidelity over a designated frequency band and operatebetween specified impedances.
It is not intended that the “frequency band” referred to abovebe limited to the region of audible frequencies.
