ETSI TS 103 281

ETSI TS 103 281 describes testing methodologies which can be used to objectively evaluate the performance ofsuper-wideband and fullband mobile terminals for speech communication in the presence of background noise.

Background noise is a problem in mostly all situations and conditions and needs to be taken into account in terminaldesign. The present document provides information about the testing methods applicable to objectively evaluate thespeech quality of mobile terminals (including any state-of-the-art codecs) employing background noise suppression inthe presence of background noise.
