This standard describes a Logical Level 2 (device level) Interface for the disk drives portion of the Intelligent Peripheral Interface (IPI) set of standards. The purpose of this standard is to facilitate the development and utilization of a device level interface which permits the interconnection of disk slave peripherals to a controller.
