This standard defines the device model for all SCSI devices. This standard defines the SCSI commands that are basic to every device model and the SCSI commands that may apply to any device model.
The processor device model is defined in this standard. Some target SCSI devices may implement an initiatorsubset of the processor device model to support the Asynchronous Event Reporting capability defined in theSCSI-3 Architecture Model.
