Purpose
The purpose of this Standard is to provide a method of logicdiagramming of binary interlock and sequencing systems for thestartup, operation, alarm, and shutdown of equipment and processesin the chemical, petroleum, power generation, air conditioning, metal refining, and numerous other industries.
