The boundaries ofthis standard span the process tap root valve to the instrumentconnection. This standard applies to all fluid media (liquid, gas,or vapor).
Purpose
This standard establishes the applicable installationrequirements and limits of instrumentation sensing and controllines and their instruments in fossil power plants.
This standard addresses the requirements of maintaining thepressure boundary integrity of the instrumentation sensing line (inaccordance with the appropriate parts of American NationalStandards Institute [ANSI] standards).
