This Recommended Practice applies to all ammonia gas-detectioninstruments that satisfy the performance requirements inISA-S92.03.01.

References useful in the installation, operation, andmaintenance of ammonia gas-detection instruments are listed inAnnex C. These references are not considered to be part of thisdocument, except for those specific sections of documentsreferenced elsewhere in this Recommended Practice.

Purpose

ISA-RP92.03.02 establishes user criteria for the installation,operation, and maintenance of ammonia gasdetection instruments.

Its companion standard, ISA-S92.03.01, “Performance Requirementsfor Ammonia Detection Instruments,” has been prepared to provideminimum requirements for the performance of ammonia gasdetectioninstruments.
