PURPOSE
This standard specifies the quality requirements of fluidsealants(1) (hereinafter referred to as ‘sealant’) to beused on the joint surfaces of an Isuzu product (between parts) atIsuzu or its supplier plant or factory for the purpose ofpreventing the penetration of air/gas/water/oil. Note(1)Fluid sealants are defined as a material that has fluidity at roomtemperature, and when applied to joint surfaces, gets dry oruniform a certain time after its application, and forms an elastichard layer to prevent the penetration of air/gas/water/oil throughjoint surfaces.
