この規格は、車室内ＶＯＣ（揮発性有機化合物）低減を目的として自動車部品から放散されるＶＯＣの測定方法について規定する。厚生労働省の室内ＶＯＣ指針値で対象とされている物質のうち、ホルムアルデヒド、アセトアルデヒド、トルエン、キシレン、エチルベンゼン、スチレン、テトラデカンの7物 質を対象とする。
This standard specifies the method of measuring theconcentration of volatile organic compounds (VOC) emitted from thematerials of car parts in order to facilitate researches forreducing in-occupant-room VOC including 7 compounds; formaldehyde,acetaldehyde, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, styrene andtetradecan, among the substances which are listed in the guidelineon the interior air contaminants made by the Ministry of Health,Labor and Welfare.
