This standard provides the specification for the interface whichcoincides with the Reference Point “Aquinter” defined inthe TR45 Network Reference Model shown in [I-2]. The scope of thisstandard includes the following topics:
• Descriptions of the specified functional capabilities thatprovide packet data services across the BS-PCF interface;
• Descriptions of the division of responsibility of thefunctions provided between the BS and the PCF without prescribingspecific implementations.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide the standard forinterfacing a PCF with one or more BSs. This document defines thefunctional capabilities, including services and features, of thespecified interface. These services and features are the definingcharacteristics that are the basis for the overall systemstandard.
