This document provides the system requirements for 3GPP2 Self-Organizing Networks (SON) that will guide the work of theenhancements required to the cdma2000®1 technology insupport of this feature. The intent is to provide guidance as towhat areas require SON-related improvements, and also to understandwhat areas standardized outside of 3GPP2 can assist in thedevelopment of the overall solution for SON. The scope of thisdocument is confined to the support of SON among cdma2000 RAN andE-UTRAN nodes.
